Creative with experience in lifestyle media and content strategy

I’ve always been a writer. From melodramatic diary entries in middle school that I’d never let see the light of day to now, I’ve always thought of creative storytelling as my super power. When I stood up against my high school's board of education in support of student press rights, I decided to make a career out of this passion.
I studied Journalism, Psychology, and Writing and now have over seven years of experience in the media world. I’ve worked with brands like Latina Media Ventures and The Spark Group, building their editorial coverage and curating social content calendars for diverse clients.
I’ve worked at Delish at Hearst Magazines, where I helped foster synergy between the editorial and social teams and wrote feature stories for online and print readers. While at Hearst, my work appeared across the legacy media company’s portfolio, including sites like Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Women's Health, Harper's Bazaar, and more.
Now, I'm the Lifestyle Editor at Bustle where I cover and oversee content related to all things wellness, relationships, tech, web culture, and more. Sometimes I cover existing viral trends, and sometimes I create them (hi, Rat Snacks). I consider myself an expert on pop culture and trendspotting with a keen eye toward the Gen Z consumer.

-
I'm a creative problem solver that lives for clean, timely copy.
-
I pride myself on my knowledge of all corners of the internet – as long as you don't ask me about my screen time stats – and thrive on a deadline.
-
I love capitalizing on viral trends to make an editorial impact or bring a brand’s message to life.
