Editor and writer with experience in lifestyle media and content strategy
Get to know me!
For as long as I can remember I've loved writing. It wasn't until I stood up against my high school's board of education for student press rights that I really channeled my passion and decided to make a career out of it.
I have a B.A. in journalism with psychology and writing minors from Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications and made it a point to write as much as I could about things I cared about both inside and outside of the classroom. I worked with brands like Latina Media Ventures and The Spark Group as a student to put my SEO strategy, writer's voice, and NYC navigation skills to the test.
After graduating, I started as an editorial fellow for Delish.com — one of the top performing brands at Hearst Magazines. Ultimately, I worked my way up to Associate Editor. In this role, I continued writing and working to create our editorial calendars and foster synergy between the editorial and social teams. During my time at Hearst, my work appeared on sites like Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Women's Health, Harper's Bazaar, and more.
Now, I'm the Lifestyle Editor at Bustle where I cover and oversee content related to all things wellness, tech, web culture, and more. Sometimes I cover existing viral trends, sometimes I create them (hi, Rat Snacks!).
I'm a creative problem solver, an optimistic thinker, and I work well under the pressure of deadlines. I have a particular passion for clean, timely copy and often joke I'm a "Gen Z correspondent" for work. I pride myself on keeping my ear to the ground on all corners of the internet as long as you don't ask me about my screentime stats.
